Beautiful Lazy Sunday
I cannot believe the partying style of my current colleagues.
p/s: Looks can be deceiving.
I thought I was quite the-craziest-girl sprouting all sorts of nonsense and coming up with lots of ridiculous fun when having get-to-gethers.
I AM SO WRONG.
My colleagues are like 100 times more HAPPENING than me CAN.
You know me. I don't shy away from the podium/stage IF the music's good. But after I saw how my colleagues party last night, for the first time, I got really paiseh in being the happening babe of the party because EVERYONE OF THEM LOVES THE ATTENTION. They were like shouting my name and pulling my hand up on the podium and I bet everyone was looking. Hence, for the entire night I took my steps to the dancefloor instead.
Anyway, back to the dancefloor. Boys/men in the clubs seriously have limited pick-up lines in their ego-filled vocabulary. OMG. CANNOT MAKE IT. They all think that it's soooo damn bloody MAN/SEXY/HOT to gyrate their bodies around the ladies and start their lousy grinding moves. I swear all of them think that these moves gets a girl ticking.
NOT.
EXCUSE ME? It's total turn off CAN.
I was asking Shifu online earlier...is it because I give off the "cheap and easy" vibe so I attract stupid dickheads? I usually don't even give a fuck about those boys/men who goes to the club mainly just to touch girls and act hot. For the record, last night, I didn't really groove that sexily or danced to seek attention lor. The clubbing was an impromptu decision I wasn't clad in proper clubbing attire with fanciful make up or what. Mind you, I was merely in black shorts and a simple yellow blouse. There was no OTT cleavage or short mini skirts leh.
Oh yah, hot guys in the clubs gives you good eye contact and a cute smile. If guys start trying to be funny by going BEHIND YOU and attempt to touch your waist/hands/do some silly moves, then they are definitely NOT HOT at all. HA HA.
xoxo,
diana
So I was saying, my colleagues - one bunch of party animals.
WAYYYY TOOOO EXTRAVAGANT.
KTV > Butter Factory > Chjimes's Insomnia > Breakfast at McDonald's
All these took place from 10pm to 7am. Goodness.
**
I have a hate-love thing for this song.
It was your virgin clubbing night at MOS and this song was on. I love it 'coz it brought me back to how you danced that night to that catchy beat and got my heart beating in awe. By far, the only memory left that reminds me of how HOT you were back then and how much I adored you.
Contradictingly, now, everytime I hear it in the club(HOW IRONIC,IT PLAYS EVERY SINGLE TIME I CLUB) my thoughts drives back to that fateful night at MOS when they played this exact same song. We were on the same dancefloor, in each other's view;but still, you my love, chose to leave your ring in the pocket, chose to be oblivious of my presence, showing off your i-am-single vibe and when the night ended, you left me to cab home by myself and didn't give a damn shit about me.
At that time, I had an ominous feeling we were over ( I knew ok) and that act of yours took all your HOT-NESS away.
One whole fucking night, I wondered what went wrong...what have I done that made me ain't the girl in your car you wanted to send home.
And, then it's all because of you (all because of you)
So, then it's all because of you (all because of you)
And it's all because of you (all because of you)
So, then it's all because...
Never get enough,
She's the sweetest drug. (Oowuuu)
"Because Of You", I hate this song more than I love it.
I guess I wasn't sweet enough to get you addicted.

11pm (:
So here am I, on a peaceful Friday night, with my TV(Supernatural) as the background chatter and the lappy on for me to blah away.
I always look forward to quality meme time.
And I'm really exhausted from work. Really really exhausted...
Yea I know it's high time to raise 'The Boyfriend' topic but you know what, seriously, I've got no idea how to start.
I admire some of my friends who blogs about every detail of their personal life online. Maybe not that detailed, but at least you know that you can find true emotions and life story accounts when you get on their page. I have been blogging since poly days but till today, I never had the courage to be true to myself. Not that my entries about my current life are untrue, but it's more of the opening up of my mysterious innermost emotions.
I cry and rant away on my blog if I want to; or go ecstatic. But still, my blog only brings out limited emotions.
It's like saying ' I miss you ' but you will never know that my heart was breaking resounding your name in my head...
Gosh. My eyes are shutting.

All our young lives we search for someone to love. Someone who makes us
complete. We choose partners and change partners. We dance to a song of
heartbreak and hope. All the while wondering if somewhere, somehow, there's
someone perfect who might be searching for us.

Good night.
DUH.
I'll take back my top criteria in a guy and place "A GUY MUST SMELL LIKE HEAVEN" starting from today and for the rest of my life.
GOODNESS.
Morning breathes, smelly unwashed shirt, BO, dripping pespiration, bag straps soaked overtime with their "chou chou" body fluid etc.
MEN STINK. Literally. HA HA.

It's M.F.F(My Favourite Friday) today!
I'm gonna go for a jog tomorrow morning, get my brows thread and watch some DVD. Then attend a colleague's 21st birthday party.
SWEET. =)

UHOO~
Work is without doubt f*busy every single day.
I start at 8:30am( omg I should go and bet on 4D/ToTo for being exceptionally punctual EVERYDAY ) and "SUPPOSEDLY" should knock off at 6pm. But my scope of work doesn't allow me to leave on the dot and I am starting to feel like a total wrecked workaholic who puts on a gloomy face in front of the computer. Anyhow, despite the crazy work load, I actually feel good about being busy and all though there was never a second to spare to surf the net/check my blog/browse emails.
War at work or whatsoever, I like it when I concentrate solely on work and nothing else. My mind tends to wander off and I'll get restless... and god knows what I am capable when I'm bored when I have nothing to keep myself busy with. So, I like to get as busy as a bee bee bee.
Back to "The Boyfriend". "For the record, Darling Diana is still very much single and awesomely unattached. YAY *rolls eyes* If I ever meet Mr Right (which I prolly would not meet till like 7 years later or something), my whole damn blog will leave obvious marks lah. So, about that topic, I'll leave it for another day when my mind's super fresh and filled with interesting metaphors/vocabulary/facts/phrases etc...... (excuses)
After a hectic day at work, I met the baby sister(LH) for a mini shopping. She got herself a vintage-checkered skinny from :COL and a MNG shorts on my tab.
I'm saving money for rainy days, so I refrained myself from bringing out the plastic and drawing out too much $$$ just in case of any compulsive buys.
BUT BUT, soley for getting rid of "The Late Queen" tag off my ass...
I rewarded myself with a box of comfy girl boxer shorts(to wear at home) from Litmus and sunnies from MNG in my favourite shade of vintage pink. =)

I guess I'm quite cautious on money output now then before... so, my CURRENT, I repeat only CURRENT spenditure-cum-wishlist is almost disappearing...which means I am one step closer to my dream Nintendo WII, a Kate Spade bag and a Chanel wallet... hahaha.
JUST JOKING.
This only means that I have more $$$ for gym wear+sports bras and a (future) sexy bikini.
Oh, and my driving license!
And and towards my goal of being a rich undergrad.
Btw, does anyone understand what am I ranting? No?
Right,
I need to get my beauty sleep now. Ciao~

From a close friend's recent post:
what suck more?
you love somone more and not be loved,
or to be loved by someone whom you dont really love
worth thinking, aye?
I don't have an answer for it... do you?

My Life So Far...
Pictures speak a thousand words.
I brought lovely Elischa to my current love - Timbre for some after work drinks, and indulged my tired soul in my favourite Mojito topped up with lots of crazy fun. It's totally different hanging out with ang mohs. Ben (El's partner) kept ordering rounds and rounds of booze and insist that I drank up to thank me for making their Friday night out so special. I nearly got sabo-ed up on stage to sing them a song in front of a live audience. You see, Timbre's ALWAYS hell-packed during the weekends and if no reservations was made, it was almost impossible to get a table. But, through Bestie's friend, I got to know the branch's manager, thus, lucky me had one of the best seats in the house eventhough I rang him like only at the very last min. Anyway, it was awesome to skip the terrible long queue and my friends totally felt VIP-ed. YAY.

Elischa Elischa. =)

Mr French Guy (I can't remember/pronounce/spell out his name).

Ben who wore berms and sandals that day and we got shoo-ed away at the door of MOS. ooops!

A very impromptu timer-shot with my camera. Apologize for the BLAH faces. haha.

Just outside Timbre. We wanted a full shot of our dresses but Mr French Guy couldn't really take a good photo.

Last week @ St. James for Meiyi's 23rd Birthday Bash. It was one night filled with hard party-ing, reminsicing the old times in sec school and definitely, heaps of hugs and laughters. It was my virgin experience at St.James and it didn't disappoint me. I always had the impression that the place was full of ah lians and ah bengs(no offence). We had to go through Dragonfly to Boiler Room and it was horrifying I tell you. Whilst squeezing through the crowd, I held on to Sheena so tightly 'coz I was so afraid I might accidentally step on some fierce ah beng's foot and a staring incident could just pop out of no where and I'll get beaten up or something. Ya it's damn silly lah. But all's well. Hah.
Anyway, Boiler Room was aight~ The live band was not bad I must say but the whole place was too small a dancefloor for us to boggy away so we gave up our two tables and ended up at Powerhouse for good ol' RnB. After the music got way too sucky, we walked over to Berlini and danced to rhythms of the 80's retro. Super jolly fun.
A great party night never fails to end with after-clubbing supper. Drove down to Niqqi's Cheese Prata at Kent Ridge and I satisfied my craving with my all-time favourite yummy kway tiao pattaya.
**
I posted only some pictures(duh of the course the chio-er ones of me). Well, you can view the rest if you have my Facebook. haha.

Stef said, "Clutches of the night." ( My Loop NYC, Mei's sleek black and Stef's Tocco)

My unruly short fringe and pretty pretty Sheena.

Sheena said this particualar ladies(it's near Dragonfly) has the best lightings to take awesome vain shots. I totally agree.

Poor Jackson. Always getting terrorized by the girls. But, we love him being so spontaneous.

THE BEST SECONDARY SCHOOL GATHERING EVER.
Top from left ( Meiyi, Stef, Sheena, Yuan Fen, Me)
Bottom from left ( Timothy, Jackson, Joel, Ee Hon)
A pity Mark couldn't join us (that ass was partying at Zouk) and Marlin left earlier.
**
I decided to stay home for the weekends and watch some DVDs. Initially, I came here wanting to blog about 'The Boyfriend' topic. But pictures are always more interesting than my love life so, I'd push that topic to another day :)
**
And I'm here to remind you
Of the mess you left when you went away
It's not fair to deny me
Of the cross I bare that you gave to me

I popped by again!
I left my house extra early this morning with the intention of being able to "stroll" to work and not rush and go "kik kiak kik kiak" on par with the whole working crowd. But I was stuck at Serangoon MRT for like close to 15mins because of the halt of train service at Sengkang station.
URGH.
It sucks even more because I knew I was going to be late for the transmission meeting and I had to run(yes with the damn heels) to work.
That's not all. You know when the train gets too crammy and everyone's like glueing to each other, you can literally smell your neighbour's breathe/cologne/perfume/shampoo? I swear the train stinks this morning. I sniffed like 10 morning breathes... 20 unwashed hair and 5 BO.
I WISHED THERE WAS A LAW TO FINE SMELLY PEOPLE.
It doesn't take like an hour to scrub yourself and slap on some body powder or rub on deodarant ok. Though I must agree that smelling good is an art. You have to deodorize(is there such a word?) your armpits first, then spray your body mist, and lastly, your cologne/perfume. And what's important, you have to spray at the right places on your body. Your hair, behind your ears, your wrist, your temples beside your eyes, collar bones and your ankles.
I like it when I get a whiff of baby powder smell or a certain brand of Men's cologne in the MRT or on the streets. And it just so happens that the friends around me all smell extremely good. My best friend smells fruityly sweet everytime I hug her... my guy friends never smell bad even after a day in the sun.
FYI, although I have no idea how do I smell like to strangers, but, I am rather anal about smelling good. Seriously, you don't want to smell like you just got out of bed on the way to work. Trust me, there are tons of Singaporeans (chio bus and shuai ges included)who smell like that. EWWWWWWW.
*
Geylang+Durians for Stef's mini farewell tomorrow evening.
Back to Fashion Forward on 5. =)
p/s : Oh! I had my hair snipped off over the weekends. Damn it I hate my short fringe... GROW OUT GROW OUT! Erm.. it's not that short la.. but it looks a little different. Looks younger. HAHA.
