A little glimpse of my 1st day of the "Niu" Year. =)



Just a short introduction, my dialect is Hainanese (I know everyone loves Hainanese Chicken rice. hah).
The elderly with the "Marilyn Monroe" hair is my eldest aunt and the little girl in the red shirt is my niece. My dad's the one in the maroon shirt The young man walking about(with the pink shirt) is my cousin(poor him was interrogated with the "passe CNY questions". The one who's topless is the little girl's dad. Can't possibly name all. Yup. The extended family I celebrate CNY with every year for the past 24 years of my life.

Okay boring.

So there you go. The Hoe Family.

The last day of the Rat Year

So the year of the Rat was pretty fruitful for the "Rat-ta-tat-ty" me.

I've made new friends, cherished existing ones and lost some.

I've gain 20 pounds. (No kidding)

I got my long hair snipped off.

I've adopted an adorable godson.

I am no longer the Late Queen I used to be(although I screw up occasionally)

I tried Yoga and dance for the first time.

I signed on a gym.

I manage to become a better friend, a better elder sister and a better daughter.

I saved $$$.

I lost someone so dear to me.

I bought Wii.

I read alot of books.

I prayed.

And for the "Niu" Year, I have a list of task to start on :

I want to save more money.

I want to be a good student.

I want to be a better person, more lady-like yet not losing my own personal character.

I want to lose 20 pounds (duh)

I want to travel.

I want my long hair back.

I want to read even more books.

I want to go on a huge shopping spree.

I want to control my obnoxious temper.

I want a new bed.

I want to get my driving liscense.

Oh yes...

And I want to fall in love. =)

My birthday was filled with lotsa ice-cream, ktv-ing, Swensons, Ichiban-Boshi, another Wii controller, a cute candle, tanning, shopping, surprise gift from my darling godson, Xin Wang Cafe, Twilight Soundtrack, outrageous laughters, birthday songs, dry ice, crazy cam-whoring top up with a hug from my favourite girl and wishes from my dear friends and colleagues.

Yes sometimes, you don't really get what you want... I guess, I should learn to be contented.

Thanks you guys for all the Facebook wall messages, lovely smses and unexpected phonecalls.

I'm damn touched can. *loves*

Of course not forgetting Miss Su Qian Ying who spent the whole day hanging out with me. =)

Today is the 40th day grandma left us.

Exhaustion.

I had an arduous day at work.

The sickening sore throat didn't make my day better.

I'm supposed to be touching on a presentation for the boss but my brain's too messed up now to stay calm and think properly.

I need a good sleep now.

Yawn.

A Stupid Period Day. Period.

I hate menses. I'd turn into some crazy bitch complete with horrendous moodswings. Screamed at basically any little thing that pisses me off. And this month's pretty bad because I was so fuming mad at 'I-forgot-what-was-I-angry-about' that the aftermath of me raising my voice was me ending up in tears.

Had super bad cramps after lunch just now. I really didn't want to take any MC coz of cramps but I was turning pale and nausea so I was out of office at 3pm.

I like being at home at this time of the day because I have the whole house to myself and I enjoy the privacy. I can couch in front of the TV in my ugly, holey, big tee with my messy hair and orange specs, chill out comfortably and heck the world. I can sit anyhow I like, switch channels as and when I prefer, play with my hair or even dig my nose if I have to(haha).

Don't you agree?

I can already picture how my own house will look like when I eventually settle down and start having a family. My house must have a family entertainment corner, a chic kitchen(MUST MUST MUST have a humongous fridge, and definitely if I can afford, a kickass walk-in wardrobe(specially designed to store bags and shoes) just like the one in the movie Sex and The City.

Am I dreaming or what?

Hahahaha.

Anyway, I'm still pretty vexed out now(raging hormones) because I heard a song by a band over the radio earlier when I was waiting to see the doctor and I only caught a few words of the song because two stupid aunties were yakking so loudly beside me. Ya, they were there to see the doctor. Sick and yet the mouth still have the energy to gossip. Yes and I am pissed because I couldn't catch more of the lyrics(thanks to them) and google is not being friendly today.

Before I continue to blog nonsense(the paragraphs totally do not link. LOL), think I shall go and take a little siesta.

I have been eyeing on Wii for the past one year and YES I FINALLY OWN IT! =D

IT'S DAMN FUN CAN. Now, my arms and fingers are sore from all the WWE, Guitar Hero, Tennis, Boxing, Golf... wahahhaa!

Early birthday gift from the parents for the 3 of us. Yup. Me and my sisters are all born in January.

I really have to go now because its freaking 2:45am and I've to go back to work tomorrow.

What a bummer.
