Happy stuffs!

I have always been a fan of Gardens' ( short form for S'goon Gardens) and it totally rocks that I'm staying in the vicinity. 10 mins flat and I can get my ass there. hah. =)

Kinda had a rough week at home so moi engaged in a little garden's indulgence.

ooOOoo la la~

Olive Rice and Pandan Chix from Sticky Rice. And I also checked out the al' new Cold Storage Speciality. Got myself my favourite brand of chips and Post's cranberry cereal.

I admit. I brought this home only because the cutesy box is Pinkish.

LOOKS DAMN YUMMY RIGHT!!! My recent creation. Prawn mayo with 5 spiced chix on toasted walnut bread. TASTE AWESOMELY GOOD CAN. *so proud of myself*

A beautiful sunset on the horizon just outside my doorstep. Serendity.

p/s: Those low-rised private property you see in the pic? Yup. You're looking at the famous S'goon Gardens estate.

Alright alright. Please bear with my prolonged-procrastination on the updates of my post BKK trip. Gonna get the remaining peeeek-tures from bestie later. And I promise I'll update in the next entry ya. Most prob will upload them first on Facebook.

For now, you have the opportunity to drool on SEXY ANANDA EVERINGHAM...

( but he's mine lah! hahaha.)

I'm kinda hooked to Shayne Ward's recent album - Breatheless. Especially his hit song : No U Hang Up. Nice.

got rid of those clothes you left like you got rid of our dreams
don't wanna be reminded of all of the memories
I use to have the ticket stamp saved from our very first date
but that don't really matter now cause you threw our love away

The other side of me.

Poem: "Crying" by Galway Kinnell

*

Tears are far more beautiful than anything that you have with you, because tears come from the overflow of your being. Tears are not necessarily of sadness; sometimes they come out of great joy and sometimes they come out of great peace and sometimes they come out of ecstasy and love. In fact they have nothing to do with sadness or happiness. Anything that stirs your heart too much, anything that takes possession of you, anything that is too much, that you cannot contain and it starts overflowing — that brings tears.

Accept them with great joy, relish them, nourish them, welcome them, and through tears you will know how to pray.

Through tears you will know how to see. Tear-filled eyes are capable of seeing truth. Tear-filled eyes are capable of seeing the beauty of life and the benediction of it.

-The Diamond Sutra

*

Nothing beats being under warm showers when at my most vulnerable self. When the whole world seemed to have taken a step back upon me, I know I am safe and I know I can be comforted in that little humble corner of mine. The warmth of the trickles sometimes hides those empowering tears but sometimes it doesn't. And it's really ok because I want to cry. I have to sob. I know I can let my guard down and cry my heart out. ;'(

The Birthday Song

Don't worry about that extra line
That's creeping up upon your face
It's just a part of nature's way
To say you've grown a little more
Trees have rings and thicker branches
Kids shoes get a little tighter
Every year we're getting closer to who we're gonna be
It's time to celebrate the story of how you've come to be

Happy birthday my friend
Here's to all the years we've shared together
All the fun we've had
You're such a blessing
Such a joy in my life
May the good Lord bless you
And may all your dreams come true

So light a candle on your cake
For every smile you've helped create
For every heart and every soul
You've known to grow a little more
A few more pounds, a little more grey
Don't count the years just count the way
It takes a little time to go from water into wine
Don't ever lose the wonder of the child within your eyes

Happy birthday my friend
Here's to all the years we've shared together
All the fun we've had
It's such a blessing
Such a joy in my life
May the good Lord bless you
And may all your dreams come true

I can't sing you a birthday song this year... but I know you'll have a blast. Stay happy.

Happy birthday my friend. =)

Today is Saturday.

Shifu gave me this quote earlier :

The more you are trying to forget someone special to you, the more it makes you feel so hard to do especially if the person you are trying to forget has left so many things behind that could remind you of him/her wherever you go.

Hmmm...

Off to Z-Land. *yawns*

Good Friday

Good Friday, also called Holy Friday or Great Friday, is the Friday before Easter.

I've always known about the origins of Easter but not about the great Friday. This day is to commemorate the cruxifiction and death of Jesus at Calvary. And today, we get to eat yummy hot cross buns.

I feel like having one right now. *mouth-itchy*

I LOVE watching Travel and Living on SCV. Such a gastronomic adventure which I can only feast by my eyes. urgghhh. That explains why I wanted to blog about hot cross buns.

Trivia of the day :
Oh, did you know the French baguette (the long narrow loaf) originated not from France but from Austria? French breads are baked round. (:

Short public holiday! But no, am not heeding out at all. My PMS is STILL crap shit and I am a semi-wreck with my outrageous pimples and bloated self. arghh.

I shall stay indoors during the weekends. Seems like my 4-day trip at BKK kinda made me inmune from retail therapy. Even a shopping queen knows her limits CAN.

Woah fuck. I am extremely exhausted. Nights you all.

Shrugs

PMS is crap. Hates it.

DAMN PAIN CAN.

*wails*

I am totally moodless today. Sorry the BKK update will be kept on hold.

arghh.

@*%&*&^%~!!!
